About Brittany

Growing up and working in the entertainment industry, Brittany Henley VanMatre saw first-hand was how celebrities and other media personalities are gifted large amounts of clothes and accessories from marketers, especially for their children.

Her father Don Henley helped instill in her a deep appreciation for environmental sustainability and green technology. She developed a personal passion for the role everyone should play in minimizing waste and building a healthier planet for future generations. Through her own work in branded entertainment content, she grew more and more concerned with society’s never-ending contribution to landfills.

As she became a mother, she saw an opportunity to address reuse and recycling with a service that could benefit entertainment personalities, consumers and even the brands themselves. From this, Spin&Give was born!

Brittany’s background is in entertainment production, launching her career with her friend and producing partner Eva Longoria. Their production company, UnbeliEVAble Entertainment, developed several pilots for VH1, ABC Family and ABC. The company she built from the ground up is still a heavyweight content producer in film and television.

In 2009 Brittany started another venture that coordinated sponsorships and production for Austin-based C3 Presents, which produces Lollapalooza, Austin City Limits Festival, Austin Food and Wine Festival, and many more. In her role for C3 Presents, she produced the VIP, Artist and Platinum Lounges for several festivals and Live Nation venues, generating sponsorship deals with brands like Tito’s Vodka, Bacardi Rum, Adobe and Citibank, to name a few.

Brittany is a graduate of Emerson College, where she earned her Master’s Degree in Visual and Media Arts/Television Producing. After years of traveling and producing festivals, Brittany saw an opportunity to change her career course and elevate her passion for environmental sustainability with Spin&Give. And in doing so, she continues to pass on a conservation legacy to her own family.
